In occasione dell’8 marzo, Aleksandra ha voluto ricordare una donna delle sue terre, Mileva Marić, tra le prime donne a studiare fisica al Politecnico di Zurigo. In un’epoca in cui l’accesso delle donne alla scienza era ancora un’eccezione, il suo percorso rappresenta il talento, l’ambizione e anche le difficoltà che molte donne hanno incontrato nel vedere pienamente riconosciuto il proprio contributo.
La sua storia è un importante promemoria: creare contesti in cui ogni talento possa emergere e svilupparsi senza ostacoli.

We are pleased to share that Aleksandra Milan Cortegiano (formerly Kozlica), Director at Valeur Group, has been featured in FundsPeople (IT) in an article dedicated to gender equality in the asset management industry.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Aleksandra chose to highlight a woman from her homeland, Mileva Marić, one of the first women to study physics at the Zurich Polytechnic. At a time when women’s access to science was still rare, her journey reflects remarkable talent and ambition, as well as the challenges many women faced in having their contributions fully recognized.
Her story is an important reminder: we must continue building environments where every talent has the opportunity to emerge and thrive.
